Product Description

GVS-111, commonly known as Noopept (N-phenylacetyl-L-prolylglycine ethyl ester), is a synthetic nootropic compound developed at the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. It is a dipeptide analogue of the endogenous neuropeptide cycloprolylglycine and has been extensively studied for its cognitive-enhancing properties. Research has demonstrated that Noopept exhibits a dual mechanism of action: it modulates both AMPA and NMDA glutamate receptor activity, which are critical for synaptic plasticity, learning, and memory formation. Studies have shown that Noopept can increase brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and nerve growth factor (NGF) expression in the hippocampus and cerebral cortex.
